Portrait Masterclass with Braschler/Fischer

100days_2727

Unique masterclass with internationally renowned photographers, to learn directly from the best.

Braschler/Fischer's photography is mostly about people. In their many years of working together, they have established themselves as internationally renowned portrait photographers, realizing elaborate portrait projects that are shown in renowned media and exhibitions and published as books.

In this masterclass they will give you an insight into their rich wealth of experience. Using examples, they explain how some of their best-known pictures were created, how they work with people in front of the camera, what they pay attention to in lighting and composition, but also how they proceed to realize complex large-scale projects.
Another important topic is the psychological aspect of a portrait shoot. How do you make the person in front of the camera feel comfortable and create a portrait that not only works formally, but also has depth.

In the practical part of this masterclass all participants will have the opportunity to shoot their own portraits in the Pop Up Studio, as Mathias Braschler & Monika Fischer used it for their DIVIDED project. The resulting pictures will be edited together with the two of them and discussed in the plenum.
