Barbara Bamberger
Photographer and Illustrator

Short biography
The former kindergarten teacher and freelance photographer Barbara Bamberger, 52, has been fascinated by photography since her youth and initially practiced it in a family environment. In a youth circus, in which two of her children participated, she developed a special passion for the art of the right moment, photographing artists in the spotlight. As a circus photographer in great demand, all tents are open to her worldwide.

It is the people of different cultures and countries that particularly interest Barbara Bamberger. In Switzerland and on journeys around the world she captures people and their everyday realities in her photos. In this way she creates reportages from pictures that tell stories.

With her warm and uncomplicated manner, Barbara Bamberger also succeeds in photographing and, of course, portraying even camera-shy people in a relaxed atmosphere - whether in the studio, at work or outdoors.

Barbara Bamberger lives and works as a photographer and illustrator in the Brugg region and is happy to pass on her photographic knowledge to young photographers of all ages in workshops.
